The space between 11.11am and 11.11am

I spotted 11:11 on my car clock yesterday,

Then again on my phone at the same time today.

Not much changed in the world between these moments,

But wow, what a journey my feelings went on.

Yesterday my head throbbed, 

my heart was sore,

Anger and bitterness had me feeling raw.

This morning I'm full of love, happy reflections too,

What a difference a day makes, when you see things anew.

You've got a choice, haven't you? 

Stay cross and upset,

Ruining the best relationship you've ever met.

Or let go of your ego, 

old hurts and all that stuff,

And just enjoy all the loving,

that's right in front of us.

That time between one 11:11 and the next?

It's extremely precious, so let's not be vexed.

Let's spend those hours living and loving instead,

Not wasting them on anger that messes with your head.
