Life's fleeting journey

Life is a strange winding road,
We come with nothing,
bear our load.
In the chase for our dreams,
we strive and fight,
Clutching at shadows,
holding on tight.
With empty hands,
we make our start,
yearn for love,
for meaning,
for art.
Through fleeting days,
we gather,
we grow,
Building castles,
or going with the flow.
But time, relentless,
draws to a close,
the clock unwinds,
it's ticking stops.
all that we cherish,
we must let go,
all of our treasures,
what you reap you sow.
But in this dance of gain and part,
Lies true beauty that fills the heart.
Not in the things that we claim as ours,
But in kindness,
in love that empowers.
It's in the lives we touch and tend,
The warmth we offer,
the hands we lend.
Let our journey be not just to gain,
But to leave behind a gentle stain.
For when we part,
and dust returns,
It's the hearts we've lit,
We'll continue to burn.
Life's fleeting journey,
our time to thrive,
Only in giving and sharing,
will our spirits stay alive.
