Monday’s promise slips to Friday's sigh, month turns pages, years drifts by.

How swiftly we rush, unaware,  

Moments slip through the passing air.

Thirty, Forty, fifty years unfold,  

A legacy of memories, still untold.  

I look around, find a space,  

where laughter once echoed, now a vacant place.  

Decades fade, like mist at noon's rays,  how I miss those bygone days.  

So in this fleeting, fragile time,  

let's cherish moments, take the chance to shine.  

Seek out the joy in life's simple charms,  and bring bright colours to our world's stretched out arms.  

Smile at the sun, embrace the rain,  

Find beauty hidden in heartache's pain.  Let laughter rise like morning's gold,  For time, my friend, is to precious to hold.  

No more "after," no more delay,  

Tomorrow's road may lead us astray.  

For coffee cools on a careless whim,  

And childhood fades in a world that's grim.  And health is a treasure that we may lose,  promises drift like leaves, in life's gentle breeze.  Life turns to night all too soon,  Leaving echoes where love used to bloom.  

Grasp today with hands open wide,  Let kindness and courage be your guide.  Embrace the present, let worries fall,  For in this moment, we have it all.  

It feels like eternity, when in wondrous flight,  Let laughter and love be our constant light. Hearts unbound, let's cherish what's real,  For time waits for no one, so let's make it feel.
