My Bubble

As a busy individual, it can be incredibly easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Between work, family, and social commitments, it can seem as though there is always something or someone demanding my attention which can feel exhausting, and usually leads to avoiding people, social situations and going into hiding.

Living in the moment is important to me, and with so much going on in my life it can feel overwhelming when people want me to commit to things in the near or distant future. Thinking ahead can cause anxiety as I have absolutely no way of knowing how I will be feeling or how my energy levels will be in the days, weeks or months ahead. We live in a fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in a constant stream of distractions. There are days I have so many emails, messages, offers, demands, and so much going on around me I find it overwhelming, I can't think straight or make sense of anything and I just want to withdraw from everyone and everything.

This is when I retreat into my bubble, it's a safe place where I can take time for myself to think, gather my thoughts, quiet my mind, and gain clarity and perspective. It's a place where I can be fully in the present and appreciate the beauty and richness in my life.

Setting aside time to reflect on my thoughts and emotions has proven to be essential for my mental well-being. In my bubble I am able to process things more effectively and make decisions with greater clarit, it has become a non-negotiable part of my life.

In a society that values productivity and busyness, it can be tempting to push ourselves to the limit in pursuit of our goals. Rest is essential for recharging the mind, body, and spirit, when rested I am able to show up as my best self in all areas of my life, it is in the moments of stillness and reflection, I become better equipped to navigate the challenges and joys of life with grace and resilience.
